When it comes to financing your home, there are so many choices in the marketplace today, and it's vitally important that you make the right choice. A lender should be a great communicator with the knowledge and experience to educate you and get you approved for a loan product that best fits your budget and also gets you successfully through the close.
Prior to beginning your home search, we recommend that you work with a lender to get pre-approved for a loan so we have the tools to find the perfect home for you. Among other things, this will allow you to discover your price-range, approximate interest rate, and what your monthly payment will look like.
Most loan products have a condition that requires an appraisal be completed prior to closing and that it be at least equal to the home's sales price. This is typically ordered by the lender and completed sometime during the contract period.
When a loan is involved in the transaction, it's important that you send any requested info & documentation to the lender as soon as possible. This can make all the difference in receiving the loan funds and making it to the closing table on-time! We will also work to ensure that you and the lender are reminded of any important deadlines.
